Rakesh used to sell Kulcha on the streets of Udhampur because he could not afford education. He comes from a poor family background. Including himself they are five brothers and sisters. Rakesh is the eldest among all five, with two younger brothers and two younger sisters. His father is a labourer and he finds it difficult to maintain his big family and educate all his children. He approached our Gurukul after getting some information from local people about our free Gurukul. Since then Rakesh and one of his younger brothers have been admitted in our Gurukul and they are happily studying here without any anxieties.
